The Denver Metro Association of Realtors Market Trends report for May is out. Here is a quick overview of what April real estate looked like in the 11 county metro area.
The average sold price of homes in the area increased 3.91% from March 2018 and the price of the average single family home increased by 4.40% from February to $543,058. As "hot" as the Sellers market has been in the last several years, it continues to accelerate.
The average number of listings for April is 15,710 and at only 5,160 listings for April 2018, we continue to be well below where we need to be for a balanced market.
The highest priced single-family home that sold in April was $8,000,000. It had four bedrooms, six bathrooms and included 8,691 above ground square feet. The highest priced condo sold was $4,150,000, featuring three bedrooms, four bathrooms and 4,723 above ground square feet. Both properties were in Denver.
